These are very pretty and seem like they will break in quickly but the left heel is VERY, VERY stiff and caused a pretty bad blister even though they are loose, I got mole skin and it didn't help much so I am breaking it down by hand. UPDATE: I got thicker mole skin for the left heel and that did the trick. I love these boots.I love these boots. They’re so so comfortable. I’ve had them for several weeks now and wear them often. Whether it’s date night or running errands. Very versatile boot that you can dress up or down. Also very comfortable with decent arch support. My feet never get tired or sore when I’m wearing these. I ordered the gray, I couldn’t find a review at that time that described the gray so I took a gamble and ordered them anyway. They’re definitely more brown than gray and I was very pleased when I received them.I bought these boots for myself. They arrived lightening fast to my door (thanks!) and everything, from the box to the boot, was in perfect order. I own slippers... house shoes, made by Taos that are super comfortable. I was worried that in a leather boot with a bit of a heal, the comfort part might not be the same. I had nothing to worry about, they feel divine. The same size that I wear in the slipper, fits me perfectly in the boot. I tend to wear a size 10 shoe (40 to 41 in European sizing depending on the maker,) but in Taos brand I wear the 9-9.5 (40) I spend a lot of time on my feet rather than sitting down, so it is supremely important that my footwear be comfortable. I am a lucky lady to be able to have boots that are not only super comfortable, but also beautiful and cool.So far I really like these boots. They are fairly comfortable and I anticipate they'll get better and better over time. I have bunions so could use a slightly wider toe box, but I expect that may improve over time. I often wear Vionics, so am used to a very high arch, and these have no where near the arch of Vionics, though they still seem to have enough arch for me. The zipper is a great feature, providing easy on / off without adjusting the lacing, which you'll want to get just right for your comfort. Pricey boot, but you get what you pay for!!This is my 2nd pair of Crave boots! I love them and may end up with a couple more colors. The Grey color is difficult to describe... maybe a grungy warm soft brown grey would be too long, but more accurate. The suede upper is a soft charcoal grey. I do like the color a lot, it's different and looks great with leggings and jeans. When I first put them on, I thought they were too small. They were laced differently than my last pair so I unlaced and re-laced them, which completely fixed the issue. After reading hundreds of Taos Crave reviews, I believe others have failed to do this. This particular pair (40) fits like a U.S. size 9. My others are also size 40 and are a bit larger, they fit more like a U.S. 9.5. I may need to re-lace. :) I have a high arch and fairly wide feet. These boots are the most comfortable footwear I own, next to my trainers.Bought a pair of these in teal several years ago on a trip, immediately loved them, wished I'd bought an extra pair. Extremely comfortable, very well made, quality boots. My first pair is still going strong, even with long stretches of daily wear, was happy to find them again & get another color. Highly recommend these. Pay attention to the sizing chart, looks like European sizing, but for me is one size down from a European size.I got my first pair of Taos sneakers this summer. I have bad feet - I pronate and I have a bunion, I was thrilled that I finally got to wear a pair of sneakers that looked footloose and fancy free! When I saw the boots for fall, I thought - why not? So glad I did, they are comfortable right out of the box (I use my own orthotics, and their insoles do come out.) I do recommend sizing up. The quality is exceptional, totally worth the price.Tight, squeezing toe box prevented comfort. Good idea to order a size up, too. I tried 2 pair and finally got the right length, but they were still too stiff to be able to walk in.
