I chose these boots because I recognized the "Felicia" sole on them. I have a pair of Ecco sandals with the Felicia sole and they are my favorite. (I love the impact/support of the heels especially). And sure enough, these boots feel just like my sandals. I didn't want to take them off once I put them on. Sadly, it doesn't seem like Ecco is making this particular model of sole anymore, so buy these while you can! FYI my feet are just slightly wide, but I generally don't wear a wide shoe. I found these roomy and comfortable, and not narrow or tight anywhere. The leather is super soft and doesn't need breaking in at all. Not all ECCO's are created equal: these are the ones you want.
