Black side zip suede with contrasting laces is super cute! I have a narrow foot & high arch and like a precise fit but with a bit of room in the toe so you can walk all day - even on a hot day with a pack full of groceries. The black suede fabric is substantial, and the shape of this shoe is perfect! They are So-o-o soft inside == no rubbing & just enough flex-room in the toe so no cramping by end of day. The side-zip is brilliant - just set & tuck your laces - then use the zip for quick on & off. Have other Eccos - these are SO nice !Amazon suggested 1 size larger soooo that's what I ordered. It's confusing to me since I know my size and I've purchased echo sneakers previously. However I went with the suggestion of Amazon and Amazon was wrong. I had to return the sneakers because they were a size too large. I checked and rechecked using the size guide so I ordered what was suggested.These sneakers fit true to size for average width foot, however the insole is not “soft” or comfortable. I read all these reviews and order my regular size anyway. I don’t think most people know their own shoe size after I read these reviews. Most decent shoe companies for a 7 1/2 M run the same size. I have been trying many brands of shoes lately and I will stick with Vans, true to size and comfy. I really want comfort.These are adorable shoes! So nice to have the option of zipper, I bought these for my daughter and she loves them! Ecco is known for their support and orthopedic support. It’s like walking on air.if you have a wide shoe; this shoe won't work for you; narrow toe box and runs short; Super cute shoe and good padding; i think I needed the next size upHad a shoe almost like it, lasted years. Fits the same year after year. I have 6 pairs of Ecco shoesTrendy and comfortable! I already have 3 pairs of Ecco sneakers and these are just as good. Great arch support for sneakers!Liked these enough to buy another pair.These shoes are softer than the style with a just the laces, which I also have. I usually have to re-thread laces on new shoes as manufacturers like to hide the laces for neatness and unless you re-thread them, you will have difficulty doing them up. All I did on these shoes was re-thread the top lace to come out on either side on the last hole so that you can do them up tighter. I know these have a zip and you can't make them too tight otherwise it's harder to pull the zip up. I'm very pleased with my shoes.Very prompt delivery love the colour ,would have liked the pink as well ,lovely soft leather perfect fit with insoles which can be taken out as necessary , shoes are very comfortable , going on a cruise so will be perfect for trips on uneven ground . I take 5 and a 1/2 and most of the trainers don’t come in half sizes .Well done Ecco .Very pleased with these sneakers. They are very comfortable, very supportive and super quality. Just what I was looking for to bring relief to my painful feet. My only criticism is that I personally would have preferred thinner shoelaces. I will be replacing these. Top marks Ecco! The zip is brilliant too as I don’t have to bother with doing up the laces all the time. Very tempted to buy the pink pair. Ecco more colours please...a lovely pale duck egg blue would be great.
